Acne is the most common skin problem in the US. It is estimated that 90% of Americans between the age of 18 and 25 have dealt with acne at some time or the other. This is mainly because of being misled by popular folklore advice on what causes acne and how to treat it.
Follow A Plan And Stick To It
To clear acne, you have to choose an acne solution and stick to it for a few weeks. The biggest mistake a lot of people make is giving up on a particular cream or pill after trying it for a few days. Another mistake is to use it only when you happen to run across the bottle of the solution. Not sticking to the treatment and following it regularly is the reason for so many people not seeing clear skin. Getting rid of acne is quite simple. The first course of acne treatment is to use benozyl peroxide cream. This is the ingredient in popular acne creams and solutions responsible for clearing acne. It doesn’t matter what the advertisements says. All other ingredients are either carriers or are either inactive or are simply fragrant and preservative additives. Solution: Benozyl Peroxide
Benozyl peroxide is available in varying concentrations for various severity of acne. It works by first opening up the clogged pores and acting on the acne causing bacteria - P.Acnes. Those heavily marketed, celebrity endorsed products have the same benozyl peroxide as the most active ingredient. So there are many low cost alternatives that are just as effective.
